Comacc was established in 1997 as a manufacturer and
distributor of copper and optical fibre cable assemblies, couplers,
attenuators and fibre management products to meet the
ever-growing needs of today's network planners and installers.
Since its incorporation Comacc has developed a broad range of
high quality products and excellent reputation for service.
Comacc has grown rapidly establishing a multi skilled workforce
with a capability to design and build fibre management systems
to satisfy customers' requirements.
In August 2001 Comacc became part of Tyco Electronics, the
world's largest supplier of passive electronic components.
The Telecom Outside Plant business unit, of which Comacc is a
part, designs and manufactures products that seal, connect and
protect telephone networks for applications from exchange
(head end) to the subscriber premises. The group contains many
notable brands including market leaders AMP and Raychem.
The diverse capabilities of Comacc, AMP and Raychem, together
with other Tyco companies, facilitate the provision of turnkey
network solutions.
Tyco Electronics - Telecom Outside Plant is headquartered in
Kessel-Lo, Belgium, and Tyco have a sales and technical
presence in more than 50 countries. Comacc's business unit is
located in Braintree, Essex.
Comacc is primarily a designer, manufacturer and installer of
fibre management products, Comacc's range includes optical
distribution frames, patch panels, wall mounted enclosures,
customer termination points, cable assemblies and optical fibre
cable. Comacc can offer a complete range of multi mode and
single mode optical fibre cables, patch cords, pigtails and hydra
cables from it's sophisticated termination facility. A range of
couplers, attenuators and accessories compliment the
manufactured products. All fibre management products are
technically supported with general arrangement drawings and
installation instructions to ensure the correct installation.
A recognised technical innovator, Comacc is able to support
customers from exchange and transmission room design,
through the production of bespoke solutions to final
installation and testing of equipment on site. Comacc's
customers are able to configure the products that they buy to
their individual needs and have it delivered, installed and tested.

reduction whilst bringing value added services and improved
supply chain control.
